- Green tea 2-3 c/day (decaf OK, black tea less effective. Steep 10 minutes; drink within an hour.)
- Mix 1t turmeric (1T if diagnosed), 1t olive oil, and black pepper, in veggies and salads.
- Grate ginger in veggie stir fry or fruit salad. Infuse 1" for 10 minutes in boiling water.
- Cabbage, brussels sprouts, bok choy, chinese cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower - steam briefly or stir fry (don't boil).
- Garlic, Onions, Leeks, Shallots, Chives - add to salads, sandwiches, all dishes.
- Fry garlic and onions in olive oil, add veggies, toss with pepper and turmeric.
- Pomegranate juice 8 oz/breakfast

- 70+% chocolate, 20% bar/day. (A square of dark chocolate has twice as many antioxidants as a glass of red wine and almost as many as a cup of properly-steeped green tea.) Avoid milk chocolate.
- Small fresh fish 2-3/week (omega-3 anchovies, small mackerel, sardines [canned in olive not pro-inflammatory omega-6 sunflower oil], or high-quality purified fish-oil supplements).
- Soy (milk, yogurt, tofu, tempeh, miso).
- <11 oz/week red meat (Americans average 11 oz/day).
- Organic indeed severely reduces pesticides in kid's urine, but even non-organic veggies are better than none.
- Even a little exercise (30 minutes/day) halves cancer relapse - better than any drug.
- Care, from others and self, soothes. Meditate. Enjoy life. Spend some time alone every day.
